I hate to say I told you so . . .
OK, I am back. Look at the prior posts.
I said that hiring Larry Brown was a mistake. It was.
I said that last season had to be about evaluating the young talent. Brown was fired because he wouldn't do that.
I said the Curry trade was a huge mistake. It was. How'd you feel during the draft? How would you have felt with Sweetney and the second pick? How you gonna feel next year when we trade places with the Bulls?
Thomas might be better for the team as a coach than as GM. He may well push the young guys to show their stuff and, in the process, show there is some future for the team. Then again, it could be early January with the Knicks 3 games out of the playoffs. What would Isiah do? He'd trade some of the young guys for a 33 year old has been with four years left on his max contract.
You think he wouldn't? He signed Jerome James didn't he? Anything bad is possible.
